Not bad at all - I'd change a couple things. I do like the fact that you're being creative and placing the navigation zones on the right, however I think it would take some time to get used to it. See, us humans have a tendency to start on the left. For anything.
Despite that, I think this is a great little concept, and have accepted into the group, #ConceptInterfaces.
Font choise - big no, since its a concept, I would work more on the spacing here. While the graphic elements look okay, the sidebar on the right needs a lot of care what typography counts. Adjust vertical spacing bigger, so when you hit control + a you will see negative blank lines between the typo lines - they should be cca 1/3 - 1/4 of original line size (cant say it better, hope you know what i mean). This needs also explorer window and the bottom bar.
ah.. well okay heres the thing.. caption bar - the top bar with minimize, maximize, close buttons, name, icon, in your case also with implemented menu bar. under the menu bar you have some horizontal bar with some controls, and under this bar its explorer window. Basically, when you take off all elements and leave only content you are located in, thats it.
was just a little info.. If in future you get to hack win7 shell to compose it like this and would wanted to work on a VS, you will quickly adapt these words since in style builder its not called top bar or whatever..
Not exactly busy, I just decided to submit my best works of the week. I call my free time - Photoshop time, that's why I have much stuff made.
Those navigation buttons maybe are confusing, but anyone could get used to them. I decided to place everything logically, less used controls on top, more used controls on the right side and the most used controls in the top-right corner.
