•Re-sized the first search bar,
•got rid of the blank space above the second search bar,
•added a little blending effect (?) to the navigation bar,
•added 'Deviants' category under the browse section,
•re-ranged the thumbnails (equal line lengths)

I think it's already possible to do something like this using a local css or js on our own machine with the help of advanced web browsers such as Opera and Chrome.
I agree that the current DA system needs a lot of enhancements and the design became very old/cheesy and slow right now. For instance the most important one would be a live feed/notification system without any need to refresh every time you want to check for new messages and watches... .
